Anonymous remailers offer a free service, which allows anyone to freely express his opinion on the web and via email.
They offer unbreakable security and anonymity if properly used.

Unfortunately as happens to all free services the remailer network is often abused by lower lifeforms to flood newsgroups and send abusive email.

As it is impossible for me to read the mail going through my remailer (its encrypted) I can not prevent flooding of newsgroups or malicious email. Thus I have incorporated two features in my remailer which should make it very unattractive to flooders and spammers.

First:
If you get unwanted email through my remailer to your email address you can request a block which will prevent any email being sent to you from my remailer. Additionally this will prevent anyone from forging an email with your address in the From: header.

To do this, just send an email with "dest-block" (without "") as the subject to remailer@panta-rhei.dyndns.org.
You will get a confirmation email, to which you have to reply. After that your email address is permanently blocked from my remailer, and you will never receive email from it again.

Second:
To prevent flooding of newsgroups my remailer requires a hashcash token in every post. If it is not present the posting will not be posted by the Panta Rhei remailer. Minting a token for my remailer takes approximately 2 min on a standard computer. Floods should thus be limited by the processing power needed to make multiple postings. Nevertheless, legitimate users should be willing to burn the cpu cycles for their anonymous posting.
